About Hom Mali by The NoodBar

The Nood Bar is an Asian Fusion restaurant serving the San Diego area since 2018. We offer flavorful noodle dishes and recipes inspired by different countries across Asia β€” from egg noodles, ramen, and curry to comforting soups. In addition to our love of noodles, we also serve rice bowls, stir-fries, and handmade wontons.

To bring more variety and depth to our menu, we’ve introduced Hom Mali β€” meaning Thailand’s famous jasmine rice β€” as a concept within our brand. It allows us to incorporate Thai-inspired dishes and the comforting flavors from our family kitchen, adding warmth and a personal touch to what we serve. If you love noodles and Asian flavors as much as we do, come visit us!

The guy at the register was very unfriendly and didn’t make me feel welcome at all. His attitude honestly ruined the experience for me. A little kindness and a smile go a long way in customer service. I hope they can be more welcoming to customers in the future.

Hom Mali is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve visited. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic Thai flavors, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, outstanding service, and a wonderful dining experience, Hom Mali is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

food was good, but the pad see ewe need more flavor, it was more to the bland side. Loved the chicken wings though. We ordered delivery , and food was delivered without any chopsticks or utensils, or not even soy sauce, I did not wanna cook or wasg any kitchenware, but i guess i will. Please make sure u add utensils with orders online.

The restaurant is a cute place, service is good. Ive found the food to be hit or miss. The quality of the take out tends to be a step down. I ordered pad thai w tofu n tried adding chinese brocolli since it was an option for veg. $3 upcharge and there wasnt much of it, could have been a $1 or .50 charge. I paid 50 cents extra for limes I paid about $20 and some change for it. Tofu was good but there wasnt any cilantro, no green onion, just a lil bean sprout. I had asked for level 2 there was no spice. Some jalapeno would have worked… not worth the price. Most expensive pad thai and it had the least stuff in it out of anywhere i have had pad thai.

I have been here before before the remodel. I really like the new look. It's very grounding and comfortable. The food is worth the try. They have so many dishes.
